Rachel Tangen

Experience

Rachel is an Occupational Therapist and has worked as an Assistive Technology Specialist at Special School District of St. Louis County for ten years. She supports students from early childhood through 21 years old. She collaborates with school teams to identify, implement, and integrate assistive technology tools to reduce or eliminate barriers, access the curriculum, and demonstrate knowledge. She also supports the SSD Powered Mobility Project and provides district-wide professional development in the areas of assistive technology and powered mobility.
