Habitat Learn’s captioning service combines advanced speech recognition with skilled human captioners. As people speak, captions appear in real time, while a trained captioner monitors and refines the transcript throughout, ensuring every word remains accurate and clear. Powered by technology and perfected by people, so everyone in the room can join the conversation.
Accessing Live Captions
Live captions will be available October 20-22 for all workshops and presentations through two quick access options:
• Scan QR Code
Simply scan the QR code located at the front of your session room using your smartphone. This opens a web-based app (Messenger Pigeon), where you can follow the live captions, view AI-generated notes, and review your transcript.
• Via the Session Schedule
Find your session in Habitat Learn’s online schedule (coming soon) and click Open in Messenger Pigeon to follow the live captions, transcripts, and AI notes.

Live ASL Interpreters instantly for Exhibit hall, check-in, etc.

Accessing Live Interpreters
On-demand live interpretation will be available throughout the venue (e.g., check-in, exhibit hall, dining areas), from Monday, October 19 through Thursday, October 22. (Please note this service is intended for casual interactions and does not cover full day workshops or 1- and 2.5-hour presentations).
• Scan to Connect
Using your smartphone, scan the Convo QR code displayed on signs throughout the conference venue to connect instantly. You can also access the service via the direct link in the conference app.
