Learning Outcomes
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Effectively use the accessibility features of Book Creator to create and read books easily online regardless of ability.
- Students who have difficulty typing can dictate text in 120 different languages
- Students who are deaf or have difficulty hearing can add captions to videos in 120 different languages
- Add transcripts to audio recordings in multiple languages to help improve accessibility
- Students who are blind, have low vision or have hand tremors can fully navigate using the keyboard over a mouse
- Students/teachers who rely on screen readers to interact with the web are fully supported when using Book Creator
- Students who have difficulty reading can have their book read to them, in multiple languages, with word highlighting and varied speed levels.
