Experience

Lynda Crouch is a certified low vision therapist and assistive technology professional who works at the Little Light House, a Christian developmental center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Additionally, she has contracted with school districts, therapy clinics, Oklahoma State deafblind program, and the state department of rehabilitation services to serve individuals of all ages with vision impairments using assistive technology. She has also worked for 3 years at a low vision clinic with a low vision optometrist. Ms. Crouch has a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University and has received Perkins-Roman cortical vision impairment endorsement. Additionally, she holds a certified low vision therapist certification from ACVREP) Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals) and certification as an assistive technology professional from RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America). She has served all ages of individuals with vision impairments and assistive technology for over 32 years within the community, early intervention, therapy and low vision clinics, and school settings. It is her passion to help teachers, therapists, and parents understand vision impairment as well as assistive technology that can help individuals reach their full potential. Additionally, she is the co-author of three part series on vision for the Little Light House Academy online classes that provide free CEU's to participants.
