CViConnect PRO is a professional-grade platform designed for teachers of the visually impaired, early intervention providers, related service professionals, and interdisciplinary teams supporting learners with cortical visual impairment. The system combines customizable, CVI-aligned activities with secure, automated data collection to guide educational planning.
Using the iPad’s built-in camera and sensors, CViConnect PRO estimates gaze direction, documents look and touch interactions, records session video, analyzes environmental saliency, and captures additional context like audio levels and touch heatmaps. Each learning session is stored in the student’s Notebook, giving educators and IEP teams detailed information about how a learner visually accesses and interacts with targeted activities over time.
The Activity Designer allows teams to create or modify materials to match a learner’s specific CVI needs, including color selection, complexity, size, movement, and salient features. Activities can run offline once downloaded, and data syncs securely when the device reconnects. CViConnect PRO helps IEP teams make informed, data-based decisions, strengthening collaboration and improving the consistency of CVI-focused instruction.
