Dr. Sowers is an Assistant Professor at Florida State University and an SLP with over 20 years’ experience working with children and adults who benefit from AAC. Her research focuses on AAC design and access methods for individuals who may benefit from motor and visual supports (i.e., CVI) as well as assessment and decision-making around the AAC system itself.
