Beth is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Center campus, clinic coordinator and director of the the ILeap preschool where she receives a salary for teaching and serving as a clinical instructor in the ILeap preschool program. Beth uses video modeling in her courses, as a clinical instructor and as a clinician. She teaches speech-language pathology students and occupational therapy students how to create, implement and dissemenate video modeling. However, she does not receive financial compensation for the use of this technology.
Experience
Beth Lane, MA, CCC-SLP, has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center since 2019. Beth serves as the Keys Clinic Coordinator, and she is also the director of iLEAP (interprofessional Language Enrichment and Pre-Kindergarten). Beth oversees all speech-language pathology students and occupational therapy students clinical experiences in the ILeap preschool. She also oversees all clinical instructors within the preschool. Beth has over 20 years of experience in the public school setting working with children with autism spectrum disorder and implementing AAC. She teaches graduate courses in the OUHSC speech-language pathology department on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Introduction to Articulation Disorders.
