Emily D. Quinn, Ph.D. CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Institute on Development and Disability. Dr. Quinn is dedicated to improving developmental and behavioral healthcare for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dr. Quinn’s program of research focuses on developing, validating, and implementing highly effective targeted speech-language intervention services for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She strives to answer clinically relevant questions, particularly those related to and expanding access to speech-language therapy through telehealth service delivery. Dr. Quinn is especially interested in adapting interventions to specific etiologies, matching interventions to the unique learning characteristics of children with developmental disabilities including Down syndrome and autism spectrum disorder.
