Katherine McGinley, OTD, OTR/L, is a strengths-based occupational therapist specializing in intellectual disability and autism. She focuses on self-determination, executive functioning, assistive technology, and sensory processing to foster independence and improve quality of life. As the leader of the Independent Living Initiative, she integrates OT with a disability justice lens, ensuring individuals are seen as whole people with the right to shape their own lives. Katherine believes accessibility is a right, not a privilege, and is committed to creating environments that empower neurodiverse individuals to thrive.
