Experience

Margaret Vento-Wilson, PhD, CCC-SLP, is the founder of SLPedia and an assistant professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State University, Long Beach. She has extensive experience working with children and adults with communication needs across school and private practice settings. Dr. Vento-Wilson has expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism, natural language acquisition, and motor speech development. She is a LAMP Certified Professional and has advanced training in PROMPT and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
