Experience

Moriah Kane graduated from Colorado State University in 2011 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Her passion for AT started at Colorado State where she worked as a graduate assistant for the University’s Assistive Technology Resource Center and a research study focused on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Technology applied to Real-life Situations. Moriah was hired by the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN in 2012 to work as a staff occupational therapist. Initially she rotated between general acute care and neuro care, eventually moving to the neuro practice full time in 2015. During that time, Moriah worked with patients with neurological injuries across the acute care, rehab and outpatient settings and helped support the AT practice. In  2018 she became the AT Lead at Mayo and obtained her ATP in 2022. She took a new position as a Care Services Manager for the ALS Association and transitioned to a supplemental role within the neuro OT practice in July of 2022.
