Experience

Ynez Peterson, OTR/L, is the Assistive Technology Specialist for the Virginia Department of Education’s, Training and Technical Assistance Center at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She has 30+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. She has worked with adults in rehab centers and students with special needs in the Norfolk Public School System. As a member of the staff at TTAC ODU, she provides professional development for educators on the use of assistive technology to support learning activities. She is passionate about finding solutions to help students increase their engagement with literacy activities.
