Description:
In 2006 a presentation called A-Z of Adapting Literacy was born. This presentation took attendees on a path from A-Z of various strategies designed to help students with special needs become better readers by providing them with adapted books. 20 years later, there is still a need to help students become better readers and writers and Assistive Technology can help. With changes to technology and resources, new strategies are now available. From a display of various adapted books to High Leverage Practices (HLP) GPT to reading pens to wordless books, join this fast-paced Assistive Technology session for an adventure from A-Z to renew old strategies and discover new strategies to add to your toolbox of ideas and help students improve their literacy skills.
