Sheryl Hazelbaker

Experience

Sheryl Hazelbaker has been in Education since 1985. During those 40 years, she has been a general and modified physical education instructor, a classroom teacher of a functional skills classroom for students with significant disabilities, a special education facilitator, and an Assistant Director of Special Services. Sheryl is a National Board Certified Teacher and an Assistive Technology Professional. She has taught in public schools and at Oklahoma State University as an adjunct professor in the Special Education Department. Sheryl worked for the Oklahoma Assistive Technology Center from 2009 to 2013. During her time at OATC, Sheryl traveled across Oklahoma, conducted assistive technology consults and evaluations, led numerous training sessions on various assistive technology devices and programs, and sat on special education development teams for alternative assessment curriculum development. Sheryl is the co-owner of OATECA, Inc.
