Experience
Andrea Casso, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist who has worked at Fletcher Miller School since 2010, supporting students with complex communication and learning needs. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and her master’s degree from Northern Arizona University. Andrea has worked with individuals ages 3–21 across school and home health settings. She is passionate about ensuring that learners with significant disabilities have access to robust communication and meaningful literacy instruction. Her areas of particular interest include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), robust language systems, alternative and complex access methods, and developing accessible approaches to literacy instruction for emergent learners.
