Experience
Sarah Hammonds is a project coordinator at Vanderbilt University for Training to Coach, an initiative contracted from the Tennessee State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG), Teaching all Students (TAS). She works alongside Dr. Alexandra Da Fonte and provides coaching to high school special education teachers across the state of Tennessee to help train teachers who support students with complex communication needs. Prior to her work at Vanderbilt, she taught in al elementary severe disabilities classroom for six years. While teaching, she served as mentor teacher for first-year teachers and for graduate students in the severe disabilities program at Vanderbilt. University.
