Executive Functioning consists of important skills in the areas of memory, organization, and attention. Come learn tips, tricks, and tools to help all learners be successful in your classroom. This session will review executive functioning and then take a look inside of a classroom to find areas that students may struggle and give concrete examples of techniques and strategies for supporting students.
Supports will be discussed for the classroom environment, teacher supports, and for students that all work together to help students who may be struggling with executive functioning in your classroom.
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

Identify at least 3 examples of executive functioning struggles in their learning environment.

Identify at least 3 environmental strategies to help support students who struggle with executive functioning.

Identify at least 3 tools that can be used to support students who have executive functioning deficits.
