Description:

Participants in this session learn to use a new open-source progress monitoring tool, the Project VC Progress Monitoring Tool, to support data-based decisions regarding emergent and conventional literacy instruction for learners with complex needs. The session will begin with a focus on establishing conditions for successful comprehensive literacy instruction. Then we will present instructional routines, technologies, materials, and resources to support comprehensive emergent and conventional literacy instruction for learners with complex needs. Finally, we will focus on the new progress monitoring tool, describing how it is used and how it can support individualized instructional decisions.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing by Closing The Gap on or before October 1, 2024. Replacements are welcome and must also be submitted in writing.

Cancellation fees:

  • $200 for each 1-day pre-conference workshop
  • $300 for each 2-day pre-conference workshop
  • $100 for each single-day conference registration
  • $250 for each full conference registration. Applicable to standard rate, Solutions member rate, presenter/exhibitor rate and conference registration and membership combo rate.

No refunds will be issued after October 1, 2024. Unpaid balances are due in full.

If for any reason beyond Closing The Gap’s control, Closing The Gap determines that the in-person conference must be cancelled, attendees understand and agree that their registration type shall be changed to a virtual registration. Closing The Gap is not responsible for any additional conference expenses, including hotel, travel, etc.
