Experience

Drew Sato is a storyteller, disability advocate, and lifelong user of assistive technology (AT). As a young student at the Bridge School, she learned to use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and other types of AT. Now in her twenties, Drew lives independently and continues to develop her voice as a writer, artist, and advocate. She shares reflections on disability, communication, and access through her writing and public speaking, and is passionate about helping others explore multiple ways to communicate, connect, and tell their stories.
