Description:

Even with the most passionate educators and powerful ideas, promising initiatives that support learners with complex needs can stall along the way. Teams may experience confusion about expectations, frustration with limited AT or educational resources, or resistance when the path forward feels unclear. Over time, these challenges can drain energy from even the most committed educators. But change in schools does not have to feel overwhelming or discouraging! Come explore how the right framework and leadership approach can transform common barriers into opportunities for growth, collaboration, and renewed momentum. You’ll leave inspired, encouraged, and equipped with practical strategies to help your team move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify at least 3 common barriers that prevent school initiatives from moving from ideas to effective implementation.

• Describe five elements that support educators during implementation shifts.

• Develop at least 2 actionable steps to guide school teams through change utilizing the provided framework.
