Description

Recorded: November 1, 2018

Length: 90-Minutes

Children, young adults and adults with autism who are either living at home or in a group home, require adaptations to their environment that are necessary for them to be able to access and live safely in their home setting.

I will share a case study of starting a group home from scratch and addressing sensory, behavioral and communication needs in the home.  Additionally, you will see data in regards to how these supports had significant implications in behavior. Pictures will be included. I  will then explain how parents can do this at home for their children with autism and how schools can support this process.

Mo Buti, M.Ed-BD, M.Ed-Admin, QIDP, is an  Instructional Expert for People with Autism in Private Practice.
