Fast, accurate captions on every call
Choose the method by which captions are generated – either Auto Captions (completely computer-generated) or Assisted Captions (operator facilitates captions and additional call details).

Every call is 100% confidential
All calls remain strictly confidential. As required by law, Hamilton CapTel is not permitted to retain or disclose records of any conversation.

Captions are available in English and Spanish

Hamilton CapTel is available in English 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Spanish captions are available 7am to 11pm CT, seven days a week. 

Save your conversation for later review
Captions of recent conversations can be saved for review. Captions are only saved on your device and are not accessible by Hamilton CapTel.

There is no charge for the captioned telephone service
The Americans with Disabilities Act provides for captioned telephone service, making it available at no cost to the user. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates captioned telephone service and funds it through the collection of a surcharge on consumer phone service.
